Oxfords

Remember in school when your parents forced you to wear these shoes?
Too bad they weren't in style back then.

I guess with shows like gossip girl, loafers and school uniforms look
A LOT better!

This post is going to be showcasing a designer
that I am seeing everywhere!

For my next post, I want to switch it up and show a trend that I think is just awful!
The Flatform
When I first saw these on the runways for this season, I was a bit dumbfounded. I figured, maybe after a while they will grow on me.
NOT the case.

Now don't get me wrong, I think these featured designers are geniuses, but I wouldn't wear these shoes if they got down on their knees and begged me to!
A little harsh, I know.

The Derek Lam version of the flatform.
The Phillip Lim interpretation.

Saving the WORST for last........ Prada? Really?!

Take a look at my
Wild Side

Animal Prints have been EVERYWHERE this spring! I have noticed them on sandals, flats, wedges, and apparel in general.  Typically when I think of mixing animal prints, I think of Fall and cooler weather.

That is not the case this spring! Ladies are showing off their leopard and snake skin accessories!

Here's a piece of advice; When you wear the print of your choice,
try not to overdo it!
Nobody wants to look like Cruella Deville!

These are a few of my faves:

Adorable Tory Burch Snakeskin Sandals.

You will be sure to stand out in these Giuseppe Zanotti Sandals!

Even with a budget, you can still be on trend. These Forever 21 Stilettos are only $24.80!

Welcome Shoe Lovers!

Hello All!

If you love shoes, you're in the right place.
I'm talking heels, flats, sandals, wedges, oxfords, ect.

For my first post, I am going to show you my favorite trend for Spring 2011.
WEDGES
It seems like everywhere I go this season, I am seeing wedges, and I am loving it!
They are a cute and comfortable alternative to traditional heels.
Tell me what you think!

These Pierre Hardy wedges are following the Color Blocking Trend for Sp/Su 2011.
Show off your style with Lanvin.

Also big for this season, try a strappy wedge.  This is Givenchy's version of the trend.
